ADMINISTRATOR / OFFICE MANAGER

Your skills profile will demonstrate an excellent ability to operate both ‘front of house’ in an outward-facing office role and delivering support functions that are vital to the success of this major project.  You will be an initial enquiry point for the project. You will manage the project website, its email account, social media, and data management system. 

You will assist with tracking expediture and ensuring budget tracking on a day to day basis. You will is be responsible for the Project payroll and expenses systems.

You will work closely alongside the Project Manager. 

 

This position will report to the Project Team Manager and is offered from September 2020.

Essential:

  • Excellent and effective team player, among co-workers and volunteers

  • Excellent people management skills, dealing with a range of enquirers and stakeholders (phone, email/online and face to face)

  • Excellent oral and written communication in English, with copy-editing skills

  • Excellent and accomplished Web publishing and editing skills 

  • Agility to respond and adapt decisively to changing events, requirements or timelines, with particular ability to manage web or social media content at pace.

  • Legally able to work in France

  • Ability to operate well orally in French, for contact with local stakeholders


 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working with the charitable/voluntary sector, a church organization, or the 65+ age range

  • Full, clean driving licence 

  • Possible familiarity with the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region

 

Package:

  • This position is expected to be offered on a local employment contract, with possible extension depending on requirements and funding.

  • Salary:  25K Euro
