You will lead a project team of up to five staff, supported by volunteers, to deliver this expansive project on the ground, and on the web. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, with an excellent track record in delivering projects with demonstrated project management skills, ability to set effective direction for this project where customer expectations will be high. You will be responsible for the financial management of this major project.  You will possess an excellent track record in ensuring demonstrated delivery of projects on budget, with ability to advise on effective ways to ensure value for money for the project. 



Your accountability for delivery will be to the Senior Project Director.  This full time (40 hrs/week) post is offered from September 2020.


  • Outstanding inspiring team player, managing day-to-day a team of co-workers and volunteers

  • Excellent relationship management skills with a range of key stakeholders

  • Proven, supportive line, team management and coaching experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication in English

  • Strategic financial awareness, on budgetary provisions and risk assessment.

  • Proven accounting and financial management experience and skills 

  • Agility to respond and adapt decisively to changing events, requirements or timelines

  • Legally able to work in France

  • Excellent levels of oral and written French to underpin key contacts with local and regional administrative stakeholders 

  • Full, clean driving licence


  • Previous experience working with the charitable/voluntary sector, a church organization, or the 65+ age range

  • Possible familiarity with the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region


  • This position is expected to be offered on a local employment contract, with possible extension depending on requirements and funding.
